Jakarta, 13 May 2022 – PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa) through the Elnusa Petroleum School function held an offline Basic Safety Training (BST) activity while still implementing strict health protocols on (12/05). This activity was attended by 22 participants including from Elnusa and its subsidiaries, namely from PT Elnusa Trans Samudera (ETSA) and PT Elnusa Fabrication & Construction (EFK).
This agenda is the company's commitment to continuously strive to instill HSSE values into employees. The BST training also aims to provide basic supplies related to the skills that must be possessed to ensure safety at work, including Basic First Aid Technique, Basic Life Support, Basic Fire Fighting, and Safety Awareness Plan. In addition, this program is also in line with one of the company's cultures, namely HSE is My Culture.
The material is delivered through interactive discussions and hands-on practice for each topic being studied, making it easier for the trainees to learn. By being equipped with hands-on practice, the participants will certainly be able to absorb the understanding of the training material more optimally.
Sr. Manager of Elnusa Petroleum School Elnusa, Hanggara Hardiansyah said that this activity is a manifestation of the synergy and collaborative value between Holding and Elnusa's Subsidiaries in upholding work safety and developing employee competencies. "Hopefully similar activities can continue in the future which are not limited to HSSE training but are open to other trainings." said Hanggara.
Through the Basic Safety Training (BST) program, it is hoped that it will be able to mitigate all dangerous conditions that can occur both in the company environment, both in operations and in the office. In addition, it can also help rescue immediately and precisely.
