Jakarta, 31 July 2023 - PT Elnusa Fabrikasi Konstruksi (EFK), a subsidiary of PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), held a Fraud Awareness and Whistleblowing System (WBS) socialization on Friday (28/7) at the EFK Office in Iskandarsyah, Jakarta. This socialization is aimed at EFK Officers and is one of the initiatives to prevent all actions that might damage the company.
The socialization material was explained by Elnusa's Chief Audit Executive, Tugimin. The socialization agenda was conducted with a hybrid setting intended for EFK management and Perwira EFK. The socialization began with an opening speech by Ari Wijaya, the Director of EFK, who correspondingly attended this agenda.
"With the session on fraud awareness and WBS, we can hopefully gain knowledge that will improve our daily activities and ensure that we consistently adhere to the rules established in our workplace. This agenda is one of the measures we are given to take into consideration ourselves and make the outcome of our efforts beneficial and constructive, added Ari.
The socialization encompassed an explanation of the FUKAPEG team's formation (Anti-Bribery Compliance Function, Ethics, and GCG), the implementation of the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP), and WBS Management by Elnusa and Subsidiaries (AP).
Tugimin mentioned several examples of potential fraud in the workplace throughout his talk. The subject is an engaging discussion topic to consider the things and behaviors that Perwira EFK should refrain from.
"Fraud cases are going to persist and might occur to anyone due to the potential and chance for fraud to be carried out in the workplace." Therefore, it is necessary to take firm action from within us to mitigate these acts of fraud. Instill the idea that all of our actions will have to be accounted for in the future and that we have to continue to reflect on our mistakes," Tugimin stated.
In addition, Tugimin also conveyed information regarding the WBS program channels that Perwira can access to protect and enhance the integrity of the work environment through transparency management.
A question-and-answer session and a quiz on fraud awareness and WBS followed the socialization agenda afterward.
Through the Socialization of Fraud Awareness and the Whistleblowing System, it is hoped that EFK Officers can strengthen the implementation of the AKHLAK values and uphold the high value of integrity to avoid irregularities in the EFK workplace.
