SKK Migas & Upstream Subholding Pertamina Regional 1 Sumatra Zone 4 Appreciate Elnusa's Performance

Jakarta, June 7, 2022 - PT Elnusa Tbk (ELNUSA, IDX: ELSA) received appreciation from SKK Migas and Subholding Upstream (SHU) Pertamina Regional 1 Sumatra Zone 4 during the Inauguration of the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) Project, namely the Construction of a Collecting Station (SP) Beringin Gas A in Beringin Village, Lubai District, Muara Enim Regency, on Monday (30/5).

The construction project of SP Gas Beringin A 15 MMSCFD Asset 2 Prabumulih Field received appreciation for successfully implementing Onstream Gas with safe working hours reaching 1,106,580 man-hour with Zero Lost Time Incident (LTI).

The construction of SP Gas Beringin A aims to increase the production capacity of oil and gas to reach 15 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) for gas and 382 barrels per day (bpd) for condensate. The operation of SP Beringin A will be carried out by Prabumulih Field under the Pertamina Upstream Subholding Regional 1 Sumatra Zone 4.

General Manager of Regional 1 Sumatra Zone 4, Agus Amperianto in the event, expressed his commitment to increasing oil and gas production from the South Sumatra region with the Spirit of SUMATERA (SUstainable, MAssive, To Grow, Efficient, Resilient, and Aggressive) so that oil and gas operations can run safely, effectively, excellent as well as can contribute significantly and sustainably to the achievement of the national oil and gas production target.

"The success of this development is clear evidence of collaboration with Elnusa in an effort to encourage enthusiasm to continue, to contribute and to increase oil and gas production in the South Sumatra region. The construction of SP Beringin A is also one of the efforts to increase oil and gas production.” Said Agus.

On the same occasion, Director of Elnusa, Charles Harianto Lumbantobing added his pride and appreciation for the completion of the Beringin project. "Thank you for the support from SKK Migas and SHU Pertamina Regional 1 Sumatra Zone 4 on this project, and congratulations to the Elnusa EPC & Operation Maintenance Team and the Beringin Project Team for their hard work which has completed the job with good achievements." He said.

"With the spirit of collaboration, Elnusa is ready to continue to play an active role in supporting the Upstream Subholding, Pertamina Group and other KKKS in realizing the target of increasing national oil production of 1 million barrels per day (BOPD) and natural gas of 12 billion standard cubic feet per day (MMscfd) by 2030 in the future". Said Charles.

Meanwhile, SKK Migas Senior Manager Project Management Noezran Azwar added, to increase project optimization, it is necessary to make optimal efforts by optimizing the internal synergies of KKKS between technical functions, asset management functions and procurement functions so as to produce project needs are on schedule and on target in a timely manner also actively develop innovations by utilizing equipment which is an asset from materials in other fields or even from other KKKS.

At the inauguration ceremony for the construction of the SP Gas Beringin A, planting was also carried out as one of the supports to reduce pollution and increase carbon absorption in the environment around the operation. This moment also coincides with the day to welcome the World Environment Day which was commemorated on June 5, 2022 yesterday.
