Liven up Hakordia 2022, Elnusa Held a Series of Events

 

Jakarta, December 9, 2022 - In commemoration of World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) 2022 which falls on December 9, PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), a leading company providing energy services, held a series of events. The highlight of the event was held on Friday (9/12/2022), in the Udaya Room, Graha Elnusa, South Jakarta. Elnusa raised the theme of the event by adjusting to the Hakordia 2022 theme, namely "Indonesia Recovers, One Elnusa Against Corruption". Through this theme, Elnusa strengthens and invites all elements within it to unite and commit to eradicating corruption.

A series of events were held including a Short Video & Photo Caption contest within the Subholding Upstream (SHU) scope, an Integrity Morning Walk around the Graha Elnusa area while campaigning and holding the Anti-Corruption slogan and giving speeches saying no to corruption, then Sharing with the theme "Managing Ethics & Compliance Risks in British Petroleum (BP)” presented by the Head of Ethic & Compliance BP Berau Ltd, Raditia Patriaji and various interesting quizzes.

Also present were Elnusa's Directors, namely Finance Director Bachtiar Soeria Atmadja, HR & General Director Tenny Elfrida and Business Development Director Ratih Esti Prihatini. In addition, the event was also attended by Elnusa's management, Subsidiaries and workers.

In his remarks, Elnusa Finance Director Bachtiar Soeria Atmadja said, We make this Commemoration of Anti-Corruption Day a momentum that is in line with Elnusa Group's commitment to keeping trying to prevent and fight corruption. "Because corruption is like rust that eats away at the iron in a drilling rig that is seen by the eye, of course, is not very beautiful." Bachtiar said.

Bachtiar further added that Elnusa, which is part of Pertamina's Upstream Subholding, took part in supporting actions against all forms of corrupt behavior in the Elnusa Group and Pertamina Group. The efforts made by the Company to uphold integrity have been massive and varied, such as the formation of the Compliance, Anti-Bribery and GCG Function team (FUKAPEG), the implementation of the Anti-Bribery management system certification (SMAP) and various internal campaigns through the company's communication channels which are accepted by all Officers. "Hopefully this series of activities and the peak of the Hakordia Elnusa event will be able to provide benefits and strengthen the identity of Elnusa Group Officers who have a fundamental role in the formation of an anti-corruption mental culture in the work environment, to create trustworthy Officers and Elnusa remains a company with good integrity and free from Fraud." Meanwhile the Head of Ethics & Compliance BP Berau Ltd, Raditia Patriaji in her presentation on "Managing Ethics & Compliance Risks in BP" said, Deterrence effect is one of the keys to success in reducing acts of corruption starting from continuous outreach, preparing and strengthening a management system that can eradicate and resolve the problem of corruption in the company and also lessons learned from previous cases.

"Our task is to solve problems starting from within the company first because it will be difficult to control and reach when it comes to dealing with external parties. Whether someone is corrupt or not will return to each person so we must apply anti-corruption values ​​within ourselves. Raditia said.
