Jakarta, February 24, 2022 - PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), which is a member of Subholding Upstream Pertamina, won a four-star award – GOLD at the World Safety Organization (WSO) Indonesia Safety Culture Award (WISCA) 2022 event This appreciation is given to companies that have been committed and focused on a sustainable basis in implementing culture and implementing OHS aspects in the work environment. In the event, present representing the Board of Directors of Elnusa, VP of HSSE Elnusa, Ramon Arias Pili to receive the award online (22/02).

The Chairman of WSO Indonesia, Soehatman Ramli, highly appreciates the 58 company leaders who have been involved in WISCA activities since the beginning, so that this annual activity can be carried out. He hopes that WISCA can continue to be carried out until the creation of an Indonesia with a World Class OHS Culture, with even more participants.

Representing the Board of Directors of Elnusa, VP of HSSE Elnusa, Ramon Arias Pili said “This award is a clear proof of the consistency and commitment and support of Elnusa Management in implementing the HSSE culture in the Elnusa Group work environment. This commitment is implemented through several activities such as Management Walk Through (MWT) and the HSSE Committee as a form of commitment and communication between the Board of Directors, Management and employees. These two programs are not only carried out by the HSSE function, but actively involve all workers starting from the level of field workers to Top Management such as the Board of Commissioners and also the Board of Directors in measuring and monitoring the implementation of the HSSE Golden Rules Obedience, Caring and Interventions are actually carried out by employees.”

In terms of communication, Elnusa massively carried out HSSE campaigns such as Live Saving Rules as well as other HSSE campaigns which were carried out spread across Elnusa's Internals to all business lines in the Field as well as the Head Office. Not only that, at the end of 2021, Elnusa involved Partners in the Elnusa Contractors HSSE Meeting (ENCORE) event, this activity was held to create synergy, collaboration and engagement in realizing HSSE Excellence through fulfilling the criteria for implementing the Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) by Elnusa's partners in full.

In addition, to increase competence through knowledge and engagement, Elnusa has launched three programs including HSSE School, HSSE + and HSE 101 which involve workers in the HSSE function of Elnusa Group, from Officers to Top Management.
