Ensure Zero Accident is Maintained, Elnusa and PHE Review 2D Vibroseis Project

Jakarta, 25 April 2022 - PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa) and Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) Subholding Upstream (SHU) conducted a study visit to the Java Sub-Volcanic 2D Vibroseis Seismic Survey Project, on (20/04). Elnusa together with PHE as the parent of the company as well as the client in this work carry out Management Walkthrough (MWT) activities to ensure that operational activities run smoothly according to procedures and of course the implementation of Health Safety Security & Environment (HSSE) is carried out and understood by all workers.

The project, which started in 2021 and has lasted for 202 days, has recorded good HSSE performance by achieving zero accidents. This is proof that the HSSE commitment has been carried out according to the procedure.

On this working visit, Elnusa Management who attended were Director of Business Development Elnusa Ratih Esti Prihatini, VP of Geoscience & Reservoir Services Muhlis Yadi. Meanwhile, PHE visited the Director of Exploration of PHE SHU Medy Kurniawan, Director of Strategic Planning & Development of PHE SHU Danar Dojoadhi, VP of New Venture PHE SHU Agung Prasetyo along with VP Exploration Existing Assets PHE SHU Bintoro Wibowo and the management of SHU and Elnusa.

Director of Exploration PHE SHU Medy Kurniawan said that we must prioritize the 15 Life Saving Rules policy, especially regarding fit to work. The thing to do is always pay attention to the health of the crew, including the Medical Check Up of the workers. In addition, it is important to ensure that the tools and equipment are as good as possible, such as marking equipment that can cause danger.

"Maintain zero accidents, always obey the conditions and danger points. Safety Culture is the main thing that needs to be internalized and socialized so that workers can adhere to it.” Said Medy in his direction at the Grand Surya Hotel Kediri.

Elnusa's Director of Business Development, Ratih Esti Prihatini said, Elnusa strongly supports the search for new energy sources through the use of this 2D vibration technology. In the future, of course, it will not be limited to this work, Elnusa is ready to increase synergy and collaboration with SHU to support the operational performance of SHU, which is currently the controlling shareholder of Elnusa.

With the strong synergy and collaboration between Elnusa and PHE in carrying out oil and gas exploration, it is hoped that they can find reserves of energy sources to meet the needs of this country.
