Jakarta, March 31, 2021 - PT Elnusa Petrofin (EPN), a subsidiary of PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa) won two awards at once for two categories in the Public Relations Indonesia Awards competition ( PRIA) 2021 organized by PR Indonesia Media Group online (31/3). PRIA 2021 carries the theme "Communication to Unite the Country". EPN as a newcomer has won two award categories, namely, E-Magazine Bronze Winner Sub-Category through E-Magazine EPNewsletter and Community Based Development Bronze Winner Sub-Category through the MSME empowerment program for Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) products which some time ago a follow-up workshop was held in the Antiga region, Bali.
EPN Head of Corporate Communications, Putiarsa Bagus Wibowo said, "This is the first time EPN has participated in the prestigious PRIA 2021 event and thank God, from several categories we submitted, we managed to get two Bronze Winner awards in two categories.
"During the 2020 pandemic we made various improvements through our internal and external communication channels as well as our CSR. This is also one of the ways to evaluate the above improvements objectively as well as proving the achievement of Corporate Communication performance in the eyes of the stakeholders of PT Elnusa Petrofin, "said Putiarsa.
Putiarsa added that effective corporate communication management is the key to the success of a company so that important information can be known by stakeholders and shareholders. Considering that EPN's operational area covers all of Indonesia, which of course requires a different communication approach in each region.
The 6th Public Relations Awards in 2021 is the only most comprehensive PR competition event in Indonesia since 2016, where PRIA has become a barometer of communication performance that should be followed by all corporations / organizations. For this year, there were 599 entries, an increase from the previous year's 534 entries.
In this event, EPN participated in the judging from February 16 to March 4, 2021 and defeated hundreds of BUMN, private, and government companies that participated in this event. In this assessment, there were 15 judges who assessed the hundreds of public relations products. The jury consists of PR experts, senior PR practitioners, PR consultants / agencies, academics and figures from PR associations / organizations.
Meanwhile, the President Director of EPN, Haris Syahrudin expressed his gratitude for the award he received. "We present this award to all employees, stakeholders and shareholders of PT Elnusa Petrofin. This is a trigger for EPN and all management to continue to maintain good public relations performance in the eyes of stakeholders, even trying to improve in the future. " Said Haris Syahrudin.
Asmono Wikan as Founder & CEO of PR INDONESIA Media Group and also as Secretary General of the Central Press Company Union said that in a pandemic atmosphere it certainly makes a difference, but this does not reduce the enthusiasm of Public Relations to continue presenting PR programs. Coupled with technology, various creative PR programs emerged in the company to maximize corporate communication.
