Pasaman - PT Elnusa Petrofin (EPN), a subsidiary of PT Elnusa Tbk through its operations unit in Transportasi, KSO and VHS Depot in Sumbagut area distributed logistical aid to earthquake victims in Pasaman region, West Sumatra on Thursday (03/03) afternoon.

The donation was handed over directly to Irwandi as a representative of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Pasaman at Tigo Nagari Refugee Post, Tigo Nagari Subdistrict, Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra.

This activity is a form of EPN concern through the CSR Program #PetrofinTanggap by providing quick handling for affected communities. Hundreds of logistical aid packages were directly distributed such as food, diapers, medicine, blankets, and toiletries to meet the urgent needs in the refuge.

The distribution was carried out following an earthquake in the West Pasaman region, West Sumatra on Friday (25/2) morning. The magnitude 6.2 earthquake caused the collapse of community settlements that resulted in injuries to fatalities.

EPN also cooperated and coordinated with various parties including Pertamina Group and local government in distributing aid to earthquake victims in an effort to accelerate post-disaster recovery. This was also done to provide equitable distribution to various locations affected by the disaster.

Through the distribution of assistance that EPN provided was expected to accelerate disaster recovery in the region and affected communities to always be given patience and strength in the face of the current trials.
