Jakarta, December 23, 2021 - PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa) consistently supports and actively participates developing the country in the CSR program in the education sector through Elnusa Leader Sharing & Action (ELSA). Starting from August 2021 until now, ELSA has collaborated with 13 universities spread from Sabang to Merauke in conveying knowledge and sharing experiences by alumni as well as key management in Elnusa Group from Senior Manager to Directors level.
In this thirteenth event, ELSA had the opportunity to convey its sharing to the State Finance Polytechnic STAN (PKN STAN) (10/12) virtually. The theme was "Elnusa Journey to Asset Management Excellence", attended by more than 500 participants from PKN STAN students and the general public. Elnusa's VP of Asset Reliability & Productivity, Achmad Zaki and Elnusa Trans Samudera (ETSA) Director Didik Purwanto, who is an Alumni of STAN, attended the event as the speaker.
In the first session, Achmad Zaki explained about Asset Management, Elnusa is a company engaged in energy services, so one of the assets related to Elnusa is equipment to support drilling activities. In managing assets, Elnusa prepares a good strategic plan with reference to the ISO55001:2014 Asset Management System. This manual contains standards that help an organization manage asset life cycles more effectively.
Achmad Zaki in his presentation said "Assets cannot be separated from various risks, to avoid this, companies must adhere to these standards so as not to result in non-productive time in the use of assets and can provide maximum support for operating activities in the long term".
In the second session, Didik Purwanto explained about Asset Management related to oil and gas demand, where domestic demand continues to increase and results in oil consumption being greater than production. Elnusa and ETSA have several long-term strategies to fulfill this demand. One of them is conducting exploration using ELSA Regent, a seismic survey vessel belonging to ETSA which has experience in carrying out the longest seismic survey in Asia Pacific in the last 10 years.
Didik added, "Besides that a valuable asset for the company is qualified and loyal Human Resources (HR), HR is a very vital organizational asset, so its role and function cannot be replaced by other resources," he concluded.
