Jakarta, 21 February 2022 – PT Elnusa Fabrikasi Konstruksi (EFK) a subsidiary of PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), held a routine Management Walktrough (MWT) activity which was carried out virtually on Friday (18/2) in the construction project area of the mining area facility located in Lahat District. The MWT agenda is carried out by EFK in ensuring that the Health Safety Security & Environment (HSSE) policy and the implementation of the AKHLAK cultural values (Trustworthy, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Collaborative) are understood and implemented by employees and become an event for the Board of Directors and management of EFK in greeting the employees even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This MWT activity was attended by the President Director of EFK, Estadi Budiatman, Director of Operations Dani Zaenal Mutaqin, General Manager of Construction Fabrication Rudi Setiawan, General Manager of Business Support Raditya Yudha, Project Manager Ariyanto Wibowo, as well as other management levels accompanied by representatives of EFK's Agent of Change.
The event was opened by watching a safety moment video, and presentation of AKHLAK moment material delivered by Melania Ferawati and Dimas Sugesti as EFK Troopers - EFK's Agent of Change in disseminating AKHLAK values and behavior with the aim that all EFK Officers get the same understanding of Values Morals and are expected to be easily implemented in daily work activities.
Furthermore, Estadi Budiatman as the President Director of EFK, reminded again about the obligation of EFK Officers to always comply with health protocols and implement the Life Saving Rules and Elnusa Golden Rules, namely Obedience, Intervention, and Care in all daily activities and work.
"I never tired of reminding all EFK Officers, complying with work safety, so that they are understood and carried out. The implementation is beneficial for myself, coming in healthy condition and going home healthy too." Estadi added.
On the same occasion, Dani Zaenal Mutaqin as Director of Operations also added, EFK officers need to be aware of safety related to the large number of large vehicles carrying minerals and coal in the project area.
The activity continued with the presentation of job updates and the 5 Top Risks in the work area by Ariyanto Wibowo, Project Manager at Project Mine Facility Development. "There are 5 Top Risk Assessments, namely lifting, mobilization of man power, material storage, and hot work. All aspects have been carried out by an action plan, in mitigating existing risks."
To see the progress of the work that has been done, the MWT agenda was continued with a live virtual site tour, where the Board of Directors and Management also interacted and greeted workers in the field and conducted questions and answers related to work safety.
There are several records from construction projects of building facilities and civil works that have reached 36,811 Manhours without any work accidents, including delays in materials and responses as well as improvisation that needs to be done in every challenge that hinders work.
