Elnusa Fabrication Construction Successfully Completed Upgrading Elnusa Hydraulic Rig #03

Wednesday, November 10, 2021 - PT Elnusa Fabrication Construction (EFK) has been successfully in completing upgrading & manufacturing Hydraulic Workover Unit (HWU) namely Elnusa Hydraulic Rig 03 (EHR-03). Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) was held on October 30th and continued with final inspection on Saturday, (6/11) at Workshop Yard Merak, Cilegon. Synergistic cooperation between EFK and PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa) as the parent company in Upgrading EHR-03 in order to support national oil and gas production.

The final implementation of Inspection EHR-03 was attended by the Director of Operations and Director of Business Development of Elnusa, Rony Hartanto and The Operations Team EFK, President Director Estadi Budiatman and EFK Operations Director, Dani Zaenal Mutaqin.

In the implementation of the inspection, Estadi conveyed EFK's commitment in the work to keep prioritizing safety aspects until the final stage of improvement so that the work can run smoothly in the hope that the unit can immediately operate in support of government programs in achieving the target of 1 million barrels / day.

EHR-03 currently has improved performance in terms of pulling capabilities up to 150,000 lbs and lifting capacity up to 340,000 lbs, hydraulic workover 4th generation is also equipped with Gin Pole with a capacity of 6,000 Lbs, Tong Arm 3,000 Lbs and Counter Balance 2,000 Lbs. This unit is also supported by 1 unit powerpack system 400 HP integrated engine provides power to the hydraulic unit as a whole including the change of main rig structure and completeness of the main unit.

"Upgrading & Manufacturing EHR-03 is the work of EFK workers innovation in supporting the needs, convenience, and safety aspects of customers to be more maximal during the operation of the EHR unit later" Estadi said.

In addition to supporting more complete and safe operations, EHR-03 also has an Accumulator unit of 12 bottles 11 gallons along with Blow Out Preventer Unit as an action to mitigate the occurrence of well accidents.
