Jakarta, August 4, 2022 – In order to ensure that all operational activities run smoothly as well as an effort to achieve the main strategy and evaluate performance from the HSSE side of PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa) on a consolidated basis, Elnusa's Board of Commissioners, namely Elnusa President Commissioner Agus Prabowo, Elnusa Commissioner Wakhid Hasyim and Elnusa's Nomination and Remuneration Committee Yudo Irianto accompanied by Elnusa Director of Operations Charles Harianto Lumbantobing and PT Elnusa Trans Samudera (ETSA) Director Didik Purwanto and PT Elnusa Fabrication Construction (EFK) President Director Ari Wijaya, conducted a Management Walkthrough (MWT) to the ship ELSA Regent and EFK head office as well as pipe threading & Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) Plant in Batam. (27-29/7).
The visit of the Elnusa Board of Commissioners aims to see firsthand a number of assets and projects owned by subsidiaries under Elnusa and provide views, strategic directions, and alternative solutions in managing existing assets.
President Commissioner of Elnusa, Agus Prabowo during his visit to ELSA Regent said "Through the ELSA Regent profile described by the team and seeing the current physical condition of the ship, so that it can be ascertained and reviewed regarding the potential market for ELSA Regent in the future. For this reason, decision making from both the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Directors of Elnusa will have to be more careful to work together to find the best solution for optimizing these assets.” Agus said.
After visiting ELSA Regent, the visit continued to EFK's head office. During his visit, Agus added, “The threaded pipes fabricated by EFK are not just ordinary pipes, because their designation will be used to work in the depths of the earth which certainly cannot break, cannot come off, cannot slip and cannot fail even under high pressure. For this reason, safety and quality aspects are the main concerns in fabrication". Agus said.
After the visit, the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors of Elnusa as well as the Director of the Subsidiary of Elnusa took the time to plant Ketapang Kencana and Tabebuya tree seedlings around the EFK office as a form of nature conservation efforts as well as adaptive action to reduce the impact of climate change that is currently happening.
In ending the MWT activity, the officials who attended participated in a leisurely ride from Rempang Island to Batam City. The end of this series of MWT activities is a tangible manifestation of the well-maintained harmonization of the Elnusa Board of Commissioners, Elnusa Director,s and Directors of Elnusa Subsidiaries.
