Implementing the Clean Energy Transition, Graha Elnusa Achieve the Greenship Existing Building

Jakarta, 27 February 2023 - PT Elnusa Tbk, (ELNUSA IDX: ELSA), a leading energy services company that provides total solutions and is incorporated in Subholding Upstream Pertamina, always supports government programs in reducing carbon emissions, one of which is by implementing a green office at the Graha Elnusa Building which is the head office of Elnusa. Graha Elnusa, which is located in the business and commercial area of South Jakarta, officially received the Greenship EB (Existing Building) Certificate V.1.1 on 24 February 2023. The Green Building certification process was carried out for 6 months, from early July 2022 until the end of December 2022.

Throughout the certification process, there are several aspects of assessment, including parts of land management and energy management (water and electricity, use of materials, management of health and comfort of the workspace, and management of the building environment).

Elnusa Human Resources & General Director Tenny Elfrida said Graha Elnusa received the highest points in Indoor Health and Comfort (IHC). "Obtaining certification from the Green Building Council Indonesia (GCBI) is clear evidence of the implementation of Elnusa's commitment as the owner and manager of Graha Elnusa in implementing the clean energy transition for Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), said Tenny.

Tenny added that in November 2022, in commemorating the 58th National Health Day, Elnusa also won the Mitra Bakti Husada K3 Office at the National Level in the Category of National Ministries/BUMN/Private Offices. Elnusa was successfully crowned as an office implementing Occupational Safety and Health (K3) according to the criteria and assessment results. "This achievement supports the acquisition of the Green Building certificate that Graha Elnusa currently obtains, and of course, this is an integrated and correlated system for the Graha Elnusa building, which is not only good in terms of OHS in strengthening and accelerating the realization of health workers but also creating the Elnusa Group work area. And all occupants of the building are in an emission-free and environmentally friendly workplace," said Tenny.

"This Green Building certificate is valid until August 2024, meaning that between that time we must be able to maintain and even further improve the compliance aspects that are the Green Building standards. This is one of our endeavors as a Pertamina group, namely to support Pertamina's commitment in efforts towards net zero emission to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and increase the renewable energy mix from 9.2 percent in 2019 to 17.7 percent in 2030. In addition, we also continue to be committed now and in the future Graha Elnusa will continue to build an environmental ecosystem that is sustainable and ideal as a future building," concluded Tenny.
