Jakarta, 29 November 2018. PT ELNUSA Tbk (ELNUSA), a trusted energy service company, continues social action for victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Palu, Sigi and Donggala, Central Sulawesi. Previously during the emergency response period, ELNUSA fully supported the Government and Pertamina’s efforts to directly recover the distribution of BBM through its subsidiary PT Elnusa Petrofin, as well as sending logistical and medical assistance.
During the recovery period, ELNUSA sent volunteers for trauma healing and provision of clean water facilities. Continuing recovery efforts, then ELNUSA built housing for earthquake victims in collaboration with Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS). The ceremonial signing of the cooperation was held today, held at Graha Elnusa, South Jakarta.

In this fixed housing supply program, ELNUSA built 16 residential units, with a donation of around Rp. 554 million. Previously ELNUSA in collaboration with PT Donggi Senoro LNG gave up ten clean water facilities to the Governor of Central Sulawesi, Longki Djanggola, on Tuesday (27/11).
“Hopefully this effort will help alleviate our brothers whose homes have been destroyed by the earthquake and tsunami, in Central Sulawesi. In addition, we hope that this contribution can contribute to the government’s plan to provide shelter for the victims,” Tolingul continued.
Meanwhile, President Director of BAZNAS, Arifin Purwakananta welcomed the plan of ELNUSA to support the provision of this permanent residence,
“BAZNAS has collaborated with many partner companies to help alleviate the burden experienced by communities affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Central Sulawesi. ELNUSA and BAZNAS have a vision that is in line in terms of determining the right steps for recovery. During the emergency response period, BAZNAS has established service posts in ten points spread across Central Sulawesi. From these posts there are health services, public kitchens, and emergency mosques, as well as a center for logistics distribution to affected communities.
