Jakarta, December 20, 2018 – A subsidiary of PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), Sigma Cipta Utama (SCU) received accreditation A from the Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia (ANRI) on Monday (17/12). This certificate was obtained because the SCU was considered capable of meeting the requirements in good and safe data storage determined by ANRI. The symbolic submission was given by the Head of the ANRI Accreditation Center, Rudi Anton, to the Director of SCU, Eddy Arus, after the decision on the plenary meeting ended at the ANRI Office, Jakarta.
Currently, ANRI has a mandatory application program for accreditation for all archival institutions, archival units, archiving service providers and archival education and training institutions referring to Law Number 43 of 2009 Regulation on Archives of the Republic of Indonesia. SCU is categorized as an archiving service provider because the company organizes archival services in its business activities with the aim of obtaining profits in the form of legal entities established or domiciled within the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. In addition, SCU as a management company for managing and storing data records, especially in the oil and gas sector, needs accreditation testing so that the standardization of company archives follows the national level.
Rudi said “This accreditation is an acknowledgment of the quality and feasibility of organizing archives. SCU is the only filing business service provider that gets accreditation A. “
The trust given by ANRI for the accreditation of archival category A has made the company to continue to improve its archival standards and become a good example for institutions to archive and management, especially in the oil and gas sector.
