Elnusa Receives the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Award for Contributing to Natural Disaster Management in Central Sulawesi.

Jakarta, December 18, 2018. PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa) received an award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) on Monday (17/12). Awards were given to the Company or the Emergency Response Team (ERT) which contributed to the earthquake, tsunami and liquefaction disasters in Central Sulawesi. This appreciation was given directly by Ignasius Jonan, Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources to Tolingul Anwar, President Director of Elnusa at Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Jakarta.

Previously, Elnusa was either independent or cooperated with other related institutions for the Central Sulawesi region. This effort was carried out with the support of the Government and Pertamina to immediately start fuel distribution through PT Elnusa Petrofin, financial and medical assistance for employees of Elnusa Group & families and victims of the disaster. These assistance and medical supplies are channeled directly by Elnusa Volunteers, or in collaboration with SKK Migas and Dompet Dhuafa. The aid package was given a total of 352 packages with a value Rp 630 million.

During the recovery period, Elnusa collaborated with the University of Indonesia’s Faculty of Psychology Crisis Center to carry out trauma recovery for post-earthquake victims. To overcome the issue of post-disaster clean air scarcity, Elnusa is collaborating with PT Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG) and UNICEF operating drilling for water and clean water facilities at 28 occupancy points of the disaster victims. As of December 2018, there are 20 clean water facilities built. Not only providing clean air facilities, Elnusa also supports government programs in providing residences for victims. A total of 16 dwellings will be built and 72 damaged dwellings will be repaired for earthquake victims.
